Terms of Service

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Welcome to Recovery Co-Pilot. By using our mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

About the app

Recovery Co-Pilot is a recovery support tool designed to help people in 12-step addiction recovery programs. It is NOT a medical service, therapy, crisis intervention, or substitute for professional treatment. The app does not provide medical advice.

Important disclaimer

Recovery Co-Pilot is a support tool for your recovery journey. It is not a replacement for professional medical advice, counseling, therapy, or crisis support. If you are experiencing a medical emergency or mental health crisis, please contact 911 or the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.

Users are responsible for their own recovery decisions. We are not liable for any decisions made based on information or features provided in the app.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Recovery Co-Pilot. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may create one account per person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the platform.

Subscriptions

Recovery Co-Pilot is free to use. Recovery Co-Pilot Premium is optional and comes in three plans:

  • Premium Monthly: $1.99 per month
  • Premium Yearly: $19.99 per year
  • Premium Lifetime: $99.99, a one-time purchase

Prices are in US dollars and may differ by country. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device’s account settings; if you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime doesn’t renew. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We’ll give advance notice of price changes where required.

User content

Content you create in the app, including journal entries, step work notes, inventories, sponsorship data, and other personal recovery information, belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your content.

By using the community features, including activity feed, meeting plans, and friend connections, you grant Recovery Co-Pilot a limited license to display your shared content to your approved connections within the app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any illegal purpose
  • Harass or harm other users
  • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data
  • Reverse engineer or modify the app
  • Use the app to distribute spam or malicious content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

Community rules

Recovery Co-Pilot has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Don’t post or send anything that:

  • harasses, threatens, or bullies anyone
  • is hateful, sexually explicit, or violent
  • promotes, buys, or sells drugs or alcohol
  • shares someone’s private information, or identifies someone as being in recovery without their permission
  • is spam, a scam, or illegal

You can report posts, messages, and members, and block anyone, from inside the app. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend or remove accounts that break them.
